Rules and Best Practices with Account Behaviours

An outline for a basic introduction to TRAIVIS' rules and best practices related to some of the most common questions we come across.

Below, we’ve outlined a basic introduction to Traivis' rules and best practices related to some of the most common questions we come across. For a comprehensive list of account behaviours that could lead to potential account violations, please see the Traivis Rules.

Following

Automated proactive following and automated unfollowing are not allowed. For example, aggressively or indiscriminately following hundreds of accounts to gain attention can create a frustrating experience for people. Adhere to the following best practices:

  • Follow accounts that genuinely interest you.

  • Avoid following and then quickly unfollowing numerous accounts to get follow-backs.

  • Engage meaningfully with accounts you follow.

Replies

You can direct a social activity to a specific person using replies. The reply feature is intended to make communication between people easier, but repeatedly posting duplicated and unsolicited replies to many accounts is considered spam behaviour. To ensure proper usage:

  • Use replies to engage in relevant conversations.

  • Avoid sending the same reply to multiple users.

  • Respect the boundaries and privacy of other users.

Watching users' trending blogs is a great way to join a worldwide public conversation. However, posting unrelated content to trends in order to get attention could result in your account being suspended. Follow these guidelines:

  • Contribute meaningfully to trending topics.

  • Do not use interactions with the trending blogs to promote unrelated content.

Paid Partnerships

Organic social activities and courses that involve a third-party brand providing compensation or incentives to a user, such as an influencer or content creator, to promote their product or service must include #SPONSERED indicating the commercial nature of such content. Please see our Paid Partnerships policy for details. Best practices include:

  • Clearly disclose any paid partnerships.

  • Use #SPONSERED in all relevant posts.

  • Be transparent with your audience about sponsored content.

Search (and Contests)

TRAIVIS' search is a powerful way to find Courses, People, educators , and social activities. We may filter accounts from search if they're degrading the search experience for other people (by posting lots of duplicate links, for example). Follow these rules and restrictions:

  • Use search to discover relevant conversations and content.

  • Avoid posting repetitive or duplicate content.

  • Participate in contests ethically and follow contest rules.

Do Not:

  • Repeatedly post duplicate or near-duplicate content, including links or social activities.

  • Exploit trending topics or hashtags excessively.

  • Use automated content creator or replies.

  • Employ bots or applications to post similar messages based on keywords.

  • Post identical messages across multiple accounts.

  • Engage in aggressive following and unfollowing behaviour.

Inappropriate and Toxic Content

TRAIVIS is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment. The following examples of toxic content are strictly prohibited:

  • Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.

  • Harassment, bullying, or threatening messages directed at other users.

  • Explicit content or links to pornographic material.

  • Misinformation or false claims that can harm individuals or the community.

  • Videos promoting violence or self-harm.

  • Graphic or disturbing images.

  • Content that spreads hate speech or incites violence.

  • Blog posts that spread false information or conspiracy theories.

  • Slanderous or libellous statements targeting individuals or groups.

  • Posts encouraging illegal activities.

  • Political content designed to incite division or unrest.

TRAIVIS' Rights

TRAIVIS reserves the right to:

  • Remove any social activity, course, video, or account that violates these guidelines.

  • Suspend or terminate accounts without notice for violating these rules.

  • Issue warnings for minor infractions and enforce stricter penalties for repeated offences.

  • Report content violating legal statutes to appropriate authorities.
