Your course on TRAIVIS is structured into sections that function like modules, each containing various types of content such as lectures, assignments, and quizzes. Here’s how it works:
Introduction Section: The introduction serves as an overview or teaser of your course, helping to engage students from the outset. This section is limited to recorded lectures only, with no start date or time required. Open-ended questions and assignments are not allowed in the introduction.
Main Sections (Modules): These sections act like modules and allow for an endless number of content pieces, including lectures, quizzes, and assignments. You can organise these sections to gradually build knowledge, ensuring a comprehensive learning journey for your students.
Course Details: This page has the key pieces of information that provide students with an overview of what to expect from a course.
Section Status: Each section’s status is inherited from the status of the content within it. The possible statuses are:
Draft: The content is either incomplete or has not been submitted for review, necessitating further input. Draft courses will be automatically deleted 14 days after their creation date.
Ready to Publish: All required content is complete.
Under Review: The course has been submitted to TRAIVIS for approval.
Published: The course is live and available to students.
Declined: The course needs revisions based on TRAIVIS feedback.

The course status inherits the status from the content status. All content must be "Ready to Publish" for the course to be published, making the publish button appear.
This is the final step before TRAIVIS approves and publishes your course.
Choose the Publishing Date: Either publish immediately or schedule for a specific date (must be before all lectures, quizzes, and assignments start dates).
Publish Privately: Generate a private link. The course won't be publicly visible, but anyone with the link can access and book it.
The start date for any lecture and the publication date of a course must be set at least two days later to allow TRAIVIS sufficient time to evaluate the course content.
Upon submitting, the course and content status change to "Under Review."
Upon submitting the course for review, the TRAIVIS team will evaluate the content and check the resources. TRAIVIS may access your dashboard to review the course content.
Approval: If approved, the course will be published automatically, and a course note will be posted.
Decline: If declined, TRAIVIS will provide feedback on areas for improvement. You can find the feedback on the course page that you have created. You can access the course from the "My Courses" tab in your dashboard, select the declined course, make the necessary amendments, and resubmit for approval.
In both cases, you will receive an email notification, and the course and content status will be updated accordingly.
By following these steps, you can create a comprehensive and organised course on TRAIVIS, tailored to meet the needs of your students.
