How do I switch between my student and instructor profiles?

Can I create and manage content with different profiles?

Yes, depending on the profile you are using:

  • As an instructor, you can create and view course content.

  • As a student, you can engage with social content and participate in courses.

Why can't I find the "Act As" feature?

If the "Act As" option is not visible:

  • Verify that you have an instructor space created. The feature is only available once this space is set up.

What is the benefit of using the "Act As" feature?

The "Act As" feature streamlines your experience by allowing you to switch between profiles seamlessly, making it easier to manage both roles without the need to log in and out constantly.

What types of social content can I create on TRAIVIS?

There are three types of social content you can create on TRAIVIS:

  • Notes: Brief, instructional textual tips with a short description and image.

  • Blogs: Detailed posts with text, images, and multimedia covering a wide range of topics.

How do I create content on TRAIVIS?
  • Sign in to your TRAIVIS account.

  • Use the "Act As" feature by clicking on the two masks icon to switch between your student or instructor profile.

  • Access the social page and click on the floating button to create new content (Note or Blog).

  • Configure your content and privacy settings, then submit your content for posting.

What are the privacy settings for social content?

You can choose from the following privacy settings for both your content and comments:

  • Public: Visible to all TRAIVIS users.

  • Connections/Followers: Visible only to your connections (for students) or followers (for instructors).

  • Only Me: Visible only to you.

Are there any restrictions on creating social content?

Yes, users can only create social content if they meet one of the following criteria:

  • Purchased a paid course.

  • Recognized as an influencer.

  • An instructor with at least one published paid course.

What are Notes and how do they work?
  • Purpose: Public messages for both student and instructor audiences.

  • Format: Up to 300 characters of text with optional images.

  • Lifespan: Unlimited; notes remain visible until deleted manually.

  • Editing: Notes cannot be edited after posting, but you can delete and recreate them. However, privacy settings for notes and comments can still be edited.

What features are available for Blogs on TRAIVIS?
  • Purpose: Long-form content covering a wide range of topics.

  • Blog Details: Titles are limited to 60 characters and descriptions to 240 characters.

  • Customisation: Use the editor to adjust text formatting, embed links, and insert images.

  • Lifespan: Blogs do not expire and remain accessible until manually deleted.

  • Engagement: You can monitor and respond to comments, and track likes, dislikes, and shares to gauge audience reception.

How do I manage privacy settings for my content?

You can set privacy controls when creating your content, choosing who can view your posts and who can comment. The privacy options include Public, Connections/Followers, and Only Me.

What if I want to delete or edit my social content?
  • Notes can be deleted but cannot be edited once posted. You can adjust privacy settings for comments even after posting.

  • Blogs allow more flexibility in terms of content editing and customisation. They remain published indefinitely unless manually deleted.

What types of messaging are available on TRAIVIS?

TRAIVIS offers three types of messaging:

  • Personal Chat: Direct messaging between two users with options to send text, images, and PDF files.

  • Course Chat: Group chat for communication between students enrolled in a course and the instructor.

  • Announcements: Broadcast messages from instructors to their followers, where followers can react but not reply.

How do I send a new message on TRAIVIS?

Follow these steps to send a message:

  • Sign in to your TRAIVIS account.

  • Click on the chat icon at the top right corner of the homepage.

  • Select "New Message."

  • Choose your recipient(s) from your connections or followers.

  • Type your message in the text box. You can format your text as follows:

Can I edit or delete messages after sending them?

No, messages cannot be edited or deleted after being sent. This policy ensures transparency and allows TRAIVIS to track communication in case of user conflicts. However, instructors can hide Announcement messages using the "unsend" feature.

What is Course Chat, and how does it work?

Course Chat is a group chat feature available to users enrolled in a course and the course instructor. It provides a space for discussion and interaction among course participants. Once you join a course, a chat will be automatically created and accessible from the chat icon.

How do Announcements work on TRAIVIS?

Instructors can use Announcements to broadcast messages to their followers:

  • Access the chat section.

  • Click "Create Announcement."

  • Type your message and click "Send." Followers can react to announcements but cannot reply. This ensures that communication remains one-way while still allowing for engagement.

How do I control who can message me?

You can manage who can send you messages by adjusting the "Message Ability" privacy settings for each profile. Different settings apply based on whether you are using a student or instructor profile. Visit the respective user guides on managing privacy settings for more details.

Can I block specific users from messaging me?

Yes, blocking a user will prevent them from accessing your profile, viewing your content, and sending you messages. However, TRAIVIS does not have a separate feature for blocking messages alone. For more details, visit the guide on managing connection requests.

How do I participate in Course Chat discussions?

Once you are enrolled in a course as a student or have created a course as an instructor:

  • Access the Course Chat through the chat icon.

  • Engage in group discussions with other participants and the instructor.

What file types can be shared in chats?

You can attach images and PDF files in both Personal Chat and Course Chat to support your messaging and share relevant resources.

What is the purpose of the TRAIVIS Influencer Scheme?

The TRAIVIS Influencer Scheme is designed to connect instructors with social media influencers to promote courses more effectively. Instructors can collaborate with influencers to expand their audience reach, while influencers earn commissions by promoting educational content to their followers. This benefits students by offering them exclusive discounts on courses through influencer referral links.

How do I become an approved TRAIVIS influencer?

Follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your account and click on your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  • Select "My Profile" and click the "Influence" button next to your profile name.

  • Complete the influencer application form with your social media details and follower count.

  • Submit the form and wait for an email confirming that your application is under review.

What happens after I submit my influencer application?
  • The TRAIVIS team reviews your application.

  • While under review, you cannot reapply for the program.

  • Once the review is complete, you will receive an email notifying you of the decision

How do I access my Influencer tab if my application is approved?
  • Sign in and go to your profile by clicking on your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  • The "Influencer" tab will appear next to your profile name, replacing the "Influence" button.

What features are available in the Influencer tab?

The Influencer tab has two sections:

  • Statistics Section: Track your performance, including the number of people who viewed, clicked, or engaged with your shared links, and monitor your earnings.

  • Campaigns Offer List: View offers from instructors, including course details, profit-sharing percentages, and expiration dates. Accept or reject offers and access your referral links for sharing.

How do I accept or reject campaign offers?
  • Review the offer details, including the commission rate and expiry date.

  • Accept or reject the offer. Accepted offers move to your "Accepted Offers" list, and rejected offers move to the "Rejected Offers" list.

  • Referral links for accepted offers will remain valid until the instructor ends the offer.

How does the payment process work?
  • Your earnings will be on hold for 14 days to cover potential refunds.

  • After this period, approved earnings will be available for withdrawal or can be used to purchase courses.

  • TRAIVIS charges a 20% commission on each successful earning for influencers.

Are there any special conditions or restrictions?
  • Only paid courses are eligible for profit sharing.

  • Instructors cannot promote their own courses as influencers.

  • Dual discounts (course and influencer referral) need to be carefully managed.

  • Only one active campaign is allowed per course, with a maximum of three campaigns allowed after ending the previous ones.

  • Influencers continue to earn commissions for up to two weeks after a campaign ends if students enroll using the influencer’s link.

  • Influencers do not earn the Karma share on the initial course purchased through their link but will continue to earn commissions on other course purchases made by that student for up to a year.

Can you provide an example of how the commission works?

If an influencer promotes a coding course, and a user registers and buys that course through their referral link, the influencer does not receive a Karma share for that specific purchase. However, if the same user later buys a different course (e.g., photography) within a year, the influencer will receive a commission for that purchase. The influencer will not earn a commission if the user buys another course promoted by the same influencer within that year.

Can I delete my TRAIVIS account or instructor space?

TRAIVIS does not support direct deletion. Instead, accounts and spaces can be deactivated for 30 days. If not reactivated within that period, they will be permanently deleted.

How do I change my email address?

Follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your account.

  • Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  • Select the settings icon.

  • Enter your current password.

  • Select "Change Email."

  • Enter your registered phone number.

  • An OTP will be sent to your registered phone. Enter the OTP to confirm the change.

  • Enter your new email address and click "Save" to update it.

How do I change my password?

Follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your account.

  • Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  • Select the settings icon.

  • Enter your current password.

  • Select "Change Password."

  • Enter your current password followed by your new password. If you don’t remember your password, click "Recover My Password."

  • Click "Save" to update your password.

How do I deactivate or delete my instructor space?

Follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your account.

  • Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  • Select the settings icon.

  • Select "Delete Space."

  • Ensure you meet these prerequisites:

    • Complete all ongoing courses with future live lectures.

    • Withdraw all earnings so your account balance is zero.

    • Archive all published courses.

  • Click the "Deactivate" button and confirm your decision.

  • The space will be deactivated for 30 days. If not reactivated within this period, it will be permanently deleted.

Note: Once deactivated or deleted, neither you nor others will have access to your instructor profile, courses, or dashboard. Your student account remains active.

How do I delete my TRAIVIS account?

Follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your account.

  • Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  • Select the settings icon.

  • Select "Delete Account."

  • Ensure you complete the following:

    • Finish all enrolled courses.

    • Settle any outstanding payments or withdraw any available balance.

    • Archive all courses.

  • Click the "Deactivate" button and confirm your decision.

  • The account will be deactivated for 30 days. If not reactivated within this period, it will be permanently deleted.

What happens if I deactivate my account or space?

Deactivation lasts for 30 days, during which you can reactivate your account or space. After 30 days, they will be permanently deleted. Refer to the Wallet and Payment section for details on payments during deactivation or deletion.

How do I reactivate my deactivated instructor space?

Follow these steps:

  • Sign in to your account.

  • Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  • Select "My Business Space" from the drop-down menu.

  • Click "Reactivate Space."

  • Enter the OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered email address.

  • Click "Save" to complete the reactivation process.

Important: If you do not reactivate the space within the 30-day period, it will be permanently deleted, and you will need to create a new space.

How do I reactivate my deactivated TRAIVIS account?

Follow these steps:

  • Attempt to log in to your TRAIVIS account.

  • You will be redirected to a window asking if you want to reactivate your account.

  • Click "Reactivate Account."

  • An OTP will be sent to your registered email address.

  • Enter the OTP in the provided field.

  • Once successfully verified, you will be redirected to the social page, and your account will be reactivated.

Important: If you do not reactivate your account within the 30-day period, your account will be permanently deleted, and you will need to create a new account.
